Ohio South Youth Soccer Association is pleased to announce its partnership with WorldStrides Excel to send our teams to Europe for a once-in-a-lifetime international experience.
International Soccer Travel
The upcoming year will offer travel opportunities for boy and girl players, sending teams to Italy where they will visit Siena, Florence, Lucca in Tuscany, Verona and Venice. Teams taking part in the international trips can expect to play top academy sides while visiting professional stadiums and fixtures. Teams will train at Coverciano, the exclusive home of the Federazione Italiana Giuoco Calcio – the Italian Soccer Federation, with their coaching staff.
An opportunity to travel and play abroad is an excellent chance for soccer players to train for a bigger stage, compete against new competition, bond as a team, and learn about a culture different from their own. For ODP teams, which are typically composed of players who want to continue their soccer careers for as long as possible, gaining an international playing experience is increasingly becoming an important milestone in their individual development.
Through travel to Europe, players engage in a level of competition not found in the U.S. as well as learn a different style of play. All tours will include training sessions, match play against top academy teams, stadium tours, and attendance at professional matches. Players also mingle with their opponents at pre-game and post-game socials, try new foods, see new sights and bond with their teammates.
All tours will take place from March 28th – April 5th, 2020. Don’t let this opportunity to broaden your player’s horizon slip by! Click the itineraries below for a breakdown of the upcoming tours.
