NEW  REFEREES
Text Box: All aspiring new Referees must attend all five sessions (Sessions 1, 2, 3, 4, & 5) of the Referee / Linesman training course and pass two written tests (i.e. at the end of Sessions 3 & 5) and attend one of the Outdoor Sessions, in order to qualify as a USSF Referee. Sessions may be intermixed from one location to another, as long as each individual session has been completed (in any order). The fee for the five session Referee Course is $40. Make checks payable to "OSSRC".
NEW  LINESMEN
Text Box: All aspiring new Linesmen must attend the first three sessions (Sessions 1, 2, & 3 only) of the Referee / Linesman training course and pass a written test at the end of Session 3 and attend one of the Outdoor Sessions, in order to qualify as a USSF Linesman. Sessions may be intermixed from one location to another, as long as each individual session has been completed. The fee for the three session Linesman Course is $25. Make checks payable to "OSSRC".
ASSISTANT  REFEREES / LINESMEN  UPGRADING  TO  REFEREE
Text Box: Any qualified USSF Assistant Referee / Linesman (Grade 10) may upgrade to a USSF Referee (Grade 8) by attending any of the last two sessions (Sessions 4 & 5), or all five sessions, of the Referee / Assistant Referee training course and pass the written test given at the end of Session 5. The course fee for upgrading from Grade 10 to Grade 8 is $25. (If you have not yet re-registered as a Grade 10 the fee is $40). Make checks payable to "OSSRC".
OUTDOOR  SESSIONS
Text Box: All aspiring new Linesmen AND new Referees are also required to attend one of the scheduled Outdoor Sessions in order to complete the training and to formally qualify as an Assistant Referee or Referee. There is no additional cost for these outdoor sessions.
