Mount St. Joseph Assistant Women's Soccer Coach

Mount St. Joseph University’s invites applications for the position of Assistant Women’s Soccer Coach. This is a 10 month, non-benefit position. The individual will work under the direct supervision of the Director of Athletics and the Head Women’s Soccer Coach. The following information is related to the position:

Mount St. Joseph University located in Cincinnati, Ohio is seeking applicants for the position of Assistant Women's Soccer Coach for the 16-17 season.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Assist with daily coaching sessions. In many cases will be leading sessions.

Responsible for assisting in the development of daily training plans.

Assist with development of weekly, seasonal and yearly training plan in coordination Responsible for assisting in game day management which includes preparing for travel on away games, setting up field for warm-ups, coordinating uniforms etc..

Responsible for developing and executing our Fall & Winter ID camps to be held in November & March Responsible for assisting with execution of team functions including communicating effectively with team to ensure attendance and participation and ensuring that all events represent MSJU well.

Responsible for overseeing 2 work-study positions  during the fall and ensuring that those students are effective and beneficial to the program.

Responsible for assisting with the recruiting plan for the year and for developing the recruiting plan. In addition, being involved with on-campus recruiting visits and days throughout the year.

Various other duties as they come up related to any aspect of the Women's Soccer program

Goalkeeper Director and Staff Coaches CUSA Crew SC

Goalkeeper Director

CUSA Crew SC is looking for a qualified and experienced Goalkeeper Director to train, coach the goalkeepers and oversee the goalkeeper development within the club. The Goalkeeper Director will report directly to the Directors of Coaching and indirectly to the Director of Operations. 

This person is expected to start no later then July 25th.

Staff Coaches
CUSA Crew SC is seeking Player Development Coaches for ages 6-18 in our Player Development Department. Each Coach will have specific training sessions and games to run around the Greater Dayton area. CUSA Crew SC will work with each Coach to determine the best fitting age group and level based upon qualifications.

Player Development Coaches are expected to actively communicate with players and parents, develop players both on and off the field and demonstrate the high expectations and level of professionalism associated in working with a professional sports organization.
Player Development Coaches report to the Directors of Coaching and involve close collaboration with the other coaches and the full Player Development Department.

This person is expected to start no later then June 13th.

 

Goalkeeper Director
- Minimum of NSCAA GK3 Diploma or Equivelant
- College and/or Professional Playing experience as a Goalkeeper
- Ability to demonstrate technical skills (Catching, Diving, Etc.) 
- Coach and Evaluate the Goalkeepers during games

Staff Coach
- Minimum of a USSF 'D' License or Equivelant
- College and/or Professional playing experience
- Ability to demonstrate technical skills (Passing, Dribbling, Shooting etc.)
- Ability to manage the game and being able to make changes during the game

General

Design and Implement high-level, professional coaching sessions following the CUSA Crew SC philosophy, methodology and curriculum

Lead weekly training sessions each season (Fall/Winter/Spring)

Serve as a brand ambassador for CUSA Crew SC representing the brand positively at all times and within the community

Communicate weekly with Directors of Coaching

Help conduct, lead and support age group tryouts

Attend internal CUSA Crew SC Player Development trainings and meetings and pursue continuing education opportunities

Ability to work evenings and weekends

Oakwood United Seeking Select Coaches & Trainers for Fall 2016 / Spring 2017

Oakwood United Soccer Club in Dayton is seeking a few more coaches and trainers for boys & girls teams, age U9-U15.  Please contact info@oakwoodunited.com or Director of Coaching Eric Kissinger (ekissinger@oakwoodunited.com) if interested.  Club home fields are located at Old River Sports Complex across from the University of Dayton.  Fall season coverage requested from August 1st to November 1st 2016, with Spring season coverage March 15th to June 1st, 2017.   No winter training requirements.  Compensation is based on licensing scale, prior experience and time commitment.

Columbus Crew SC (Soccer Club) is the first club in Major League Soccer and in 2015, Crew SC was crowned MLS Eastern Conference Champions in the organization’s 20th season. Owned and operated by Precourt Sports Ventures (PSV), it won its first MLS Cup championship in 2008 and also won the 2002 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup as well as MLS Supporters’ Shield titles in 2004, 2008 and 2009. The 2016 campaign is the Black & Gold’s 18th season at historic MAPFRE Stadium -- the first soccer-specific stadium in the United States – where the club set single-season sellout records and hosted the 2015 MLS Cup. The club was purchased by PSV on July 29, 2013 as part of the privately held investment and management firm’s sports and entertainment business enterprise.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

·         Communicate weekly with Player Development Directors

·         Game day preparation and team management at games

·         Help conduct, lead and support age group tryouts

·         Attend internal Crew SC Player Development trainings and meetings and pursue continuing education opportunities

·         Annual Season: late May, 2016 through mid-June, 2017

 

Required skills, experience & abilities

·         Be available to start position May 26, 2016

·         Minimum of USSF “E” License

·         Minimum of 2 years’ youth soccer coaching experience

·         Must be at least 18 years of age and high school diploma/GED required; higher education preferred

·         Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse population, including strong verbal communication skills. Second language a plus

·         Ability to consistently work evenings and weekends

·         Coaching philosophy and style consistent with club environment (emphasis on development both as a player and as a person)

·         CPR & AED certified

·         Reliable Transportation
