2003  USSF  REFEREE  RE-CERTIFICATION  CLINICS

 

ReRegistration Requirements

1)   Each year all USSF officials, i.e.  referees and linesmen,  are required to attend a minimum of 5-hours (2-hours for Linesmen) of in-service training, as well as taking a refresher test on the Laws of the Game, in order to be re-certified.

2)  In order to satisfy these requirements, two re-registration clinic sessions, i.e. a Module “A” session (2-hours) and  Module “B”  session (3-hours),  have been additionally scheduled in the spring for those of you that failed to complete your re-registration in the fall.

3)  The spring  re-registration schedule is listed below, incomplete as it may be.  HOWEVER, BE FOREWARNED ……. There will be no other dates scheduled other than those listed. 

4)  All re-registration forms and fees (payable to “OSSRC”) will be collected at the Module “A” clinic sessions only.   Bring your pre-printed registration form to this clinic meeting.   If you did not receive a form in the mail, there will be blank forms available.

5)  There will be NO mail-in registrations accepted.  Anyone who may have already mailed in forms and fees will need to bring another check to the Module “A” session, as all mailed checks have been / or will be voided.

6)  2003 Law books will be distributed only at the Module “A” clinic sessions to all the re-registrants in attendance ….. Law books will NOT be mailed to you!!!

7)  2003 badges will only be distributed, as noted below, at the re-certification clinics …… badges will NOT be mailed to you!!!

 

Linesmen (Referee Grade 10)

1)  Must attend a Module “A” session only (need NOT attend a Module “B” session). ….. OR ….  may attend one of the Intermediate Referee Workshop Sessions on scheduled on Feb. 15 and 16.

2)   Must take the Linesman refresher test, which will be given at the beginning of the Module “A” sessions …. BE ON TIME!!!!

3)  Re-registration form and $15 fee payable to “OSSRC” will be collected at this session. 

4)  2003 Linesman badges will be given to all linesmen in attendance at the end of each Module “A” session.  

 

Linesmen (Referee Grade 10 Upgrading to Referee Grade 8)

1)  Should re-register as a Linesman as per instructions above.

2)   Complete the last two clinic sessions of the Entry Level Referee Course.   See web-sites for clinic schedules.

 

Referees (Referee Grade 8)

1)  Must attend both a Module “A” …..AND …… a Module “B” session.. ….. OR …. may attend any two of the three Intermediate Referee Workshop Sessions scheduled on Feb. 15 and 16.

2)   Must take the Linesman refresher test, which will be given at the beginning of the Module “A” sessions …. BE ON TIME!!!!

3)   Must also take the Referee refresher test, which will be given at the beginning of the Module “B” sessions …. BE ON TIME!!!!

4)  Re-registration forms and $25 fee payable to “OSSRC” will be collected at the Module “A” sessions only.

5)    2003 Referee badges will only be given out at the end of the Module “B” and the Referee Workshop sessions and only to those referees who have met all of the re-registration requirements.

 

Referees (Referee Grade 7 and Referees Upgrading to Grade 7)

1)   Must attend the three Intermediate Referee Workshop Sessions scheduled on Feb. 15 and 16 ….. OR ….. may attend both a Module “A” … AND… a Module “B” session, but only if pre-approved by the Cincinnati District Referee Administrator.

2)             Must take the running test, which will to be administered at some time in the spring at a time and place to be determined.

3)   Must take the refresher tests, which will be given at the beginning of each of the clinic sessions …. BE ON TIME!!!!

4)  Re-registration forms and $25 fee payable to “OSSRC” will be collected at the Module “A” or the Referee Workshop sessions only.

5)  2003 Referee badges will only be given out at the end of the Module “B” and the Referee Workshop sessions and only to those referees who have met all of the grade level requirements.
