At the December Board Meeting of the OSYSA Board of Directors a new state league was approved for competition starting in
the Fall of 2012.

US Youth Soccer Region II Coaching Symposium
The Region II Coaching Symposium will be held August 10-12, 2012 in Columbus, Ohio. Registration will include a ticket to the Columbus Crew vs. Toronto FC match at Crew Stadium on August 11th. More Info

Concussion Awareness
The Crew Soccer Foundation and OhioHealth to provide information on the dangers of concussions, recognizing the signs and symptoms and the importance of baseline brain function testing as a tool in diagnosis. As you are aware, this is a growing problem and we are doing our part to try and create awareness for players and their parents.

Connecting Kids to Coverage
The federal government and the states together offer health insurance coverage for children through Medicaid and the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP). These programs serve families who are not able to afford health insurance coverage in the private market or do not have coverage available to them. more
